Princess Tutu Club
Greetings, everyone. Sorry for the relative silence, but things have been rather busy and there hasn't been too much to announce lately.

However, I do have the pleasure of announcing the winners of the October and November contests, and I apologize on the lateness for October. The October winners are MoonShadowMagic's "Ghost copy" and Waifine's "The Ghost Knight's Tale." November's winner is VampiresaQueen for "Princess Tutu (Steampunk Style)." Congratulations to our latest contests winners.

As is our tradition, we are taking December off from contests. This is a time for us to start planning for the next year and what we can do to continue improving the club. This year we've added a new mod in Delight046, and we finally got around to changing an old rule that should allow for more fan works to get some promotion. But we're always looking for ways to get better. As always, we want to hear from you. The admins have recently received an offer from one our members to offer art requests as an additional reward to the front-page promotions to our contest winners. Would that be something you'd be interested in as a potential prize? What other things would you like from the group? Any contest suggestions? Let us know.

2014 is winding down, and here's to a better 2015!

Yes. We sometimes take a while to approve, but we usually accept everyone.

Thank you

I hope to have time to do something for this month's contest. But, I have an older piece that's been posted elsewhere (never on dA) that would fit as well. Would it be permissible to enter it, or (as I've assumed all along) must all entries be new, as part of the challenge to finish them within the allotted time? Just checking....

We prefer pieces that are created for the prompt, or around the time of the prompt. It's part of the whole challenge aspect of our contests. So it's a no on pre-existing art. But feel free to submit it to the main gallery.

That's what I thought, but I didn't remember seeing a rule to that effect. Thanks for clarifying that!

Yeah, it's rarely posted in the specific contests, but it's in the general contest rules in the About Us page.

Don`t you think about making Princess Tutu OC contest? Agiotage would be enormous =)

It has crossed my mind personally, but we tend to try to keep things in line with the overall theme of the club, which is focused on the canon characters. We've allowed a few instances for OCs, like the families contest we held a while back. Having an OC focused contest is an option, but something the admins would have to agree on. If there were demand for it, maybe.

Is there going to be a December contest?
Asatira Featured By Owner Dec 15, 2012  Hobbyist General Artist
No, sorry. We tend to take a break during December, so no contests.
