When did it suddenly become cool to hate everything? It's a growing problem, especially in the entertainment world, and no one benefits from an increasingly hard to please, pessimistic audience.

"Having a personal philosophy is like having a pet marmoset, because it may be very attractive when you acquire it, but there may be situations when it will not come in handy at all." ~ Lemony Snicket
No further than the 1990s because we're going for modern (ie. contemporary to now); sooner than that and it's too culturally and visually distinct. What would they be doing now and how would they be now. We may do the 80s at some other time. That, or other time periods would be fun too. But for now, stick with the last decade or so.

I forgot the odd numbers thing >_<
Shoot. If ever I can't fix it an I still submit the art, even not as an entry? I'll try though. I'll try fixing it, and maybe sticking paper over some of it and redo. I came up with four characters not any odd

For example, an image of Fakir and Ahiru kissing and wearing modern day clothing coupled with this kind of description:
"This is Fakir and Ahiru in high school. They're both in ballet class. They're in love.
...Is NOT what we're hoping to see.
We did romance for the last theme, so we're wanting to get away from that as the focus of this contest.
