April 2008 Contest
Time to start the April Club Tutu Contest! The theme this time around is time related! Modern Days Take your favorite Princess Tutu character(s) out of the PTT universe and stick them in the year 2008. As though they've always lived in this modern day world. All entries are required to use an odd number of characters: 1, 3, 5... 15. Entries can be either fanart or fanfic, but art entries must include a minimum 5 sentence description of the character's modern life. Romance isn't the main focus this time, their lives are. Get creative! Deadline: 11:00pm PST (GMT-8), April 29th, 2008 Voting Period: April 30th through May 4th Prizes: A free art commission from any one of our three donators: ~Akogare, *CoppeliaD, or *elfgrove (1st Place gets the first choice.) Be sure to follow all of the standard contest rules posted here: [link] How To Submit: To submit to the contest, send a note to  titled "Contest" with a link to your deviation. Contest submissions will be listed in the welcome journal as we receive them. No further than the 1990s because we're going for modern (ie. contemporary to now); sooner than that and it's too culturally and visually distinct. What would they be doing now and how would they be now. We may do the 80s at some other time. That, or other time periods would be fun too. But for now, stick with the last decade or so.

For example, an image of Fakir and Ahiru kissing and wearing modern day clothing coupled with this kind of description:
"This is Fakir and Ahiru in high school. They're both in ballet class. They're in love.
...Is NOT what we're hoping to see.
We did romance for the last theme, so we're wanting to get away from that as the focus of this contest.
